How much does it cost?
Send an email query or submit your project in order to receive a custom cost estimate. A $20 minimum deposit generally covers the total cost of a 1-page cover letter or a short college essay.

track changes feature, you can see and approve every correction. Let me know when you submit your project if you need this option turned on.
What's your professional background?
I have worked both as a freelancer and in-house in the publishing business. I also have experience in a college writing center. I have a bachelor's degree in English and I wear my granny glasses too low!
My assignment is due yesterday! Can you help?
Mayhaps. I do have a life away from the computer! I can't write it for you, but I'll see what I can do to help you succeed. If my schedule allows it, I reserve the right to charge extra for a rush project.
Are there any topics you won't accept?
I will accept projects written on almost any topic, except for those promoting hatred, violence, or a callous disregard of the natural environment. I have worked on books ranging from novels to astronomy to business finance, from nursing works with medical terms, to religious works with scriptural references. I'm comfortable with both nonfiction and fiction, and I have practice punctuating dialogue.
What about research papers?
Yes, I can help with research papers and documentation. Let me know what style you are using and give me as much source information as possible.
My paper isn't long enough! Can you help me write it?
Nope, but I will be happy to suggest ideas for lengthening it. It's your job to write, and my job to help you polish your writing.
What files should I send?
Please send me anything that will help me with your project. For a
book manuscript, please send me the first ten pages for evaluation purposes. For an
essay, send me details of the assignment, as well as your draft. For a
cover letter, send your current resume and the job description, as well as a rough draft of the letter (it doesn't have to be perfect). For a
resume, please send me the old version, a list of additions or changes you wish to make, and the type of job you are targeting.
How and when do I pay?
I will evaluate the first ten pages of a book manuscript at no charge, and then contact you to discuss your editorial options. For shorter projects, including college essays, a $20 deposit using PayPal is due when you submit a project. I will contact you by email regarding project details and final cost. Charges must be paid in full before the completed work is returned to you.
Where are you located?
I'm located in the beautiful city of Dubuque, Iowa. For safety's sake, I limit personal details released online. Tri-State authors may arrange to meet in person.
How many printouts will I get?
Zero. All work is created electronically. You will receive the completed document as a Word or PDF file.
Will you keep my information private?
